Renovations affect study areas and library at CRC, Malmö from 19/2

Due to rot, CRC's building facade and windows need to be replaced. During the renovation, the library will close temporarily. The following applies during the renovation:

Library – loan and access to books

  • The library reception desk is moving to the old bookstore outside the library (by the copier and lending station).
  • Library books will be available for loan just inside the library entrance doors. You can use your access card to enter through the doors.

Study areas

  • The library's study area closes on February 19 for six weeks.
  • Classrooms on floor 10 (behind the auditorium) and floor 11 will replace the library’s study places. Students have access to the classrooms outside scheduled teaching hours.
  • The balcony in the main hall can also be used as a study area (the restaurant may use the balcony occasionally during lunchtime).
  • The restaurant's dining room may also be used as a study area before 10 a.m. and after 3 p.m.

If you have any questions, please contact the student health and safety rep, the Student Union MF, or the chairperson of the programme board.

Reading spaces

There are a number of reading spaces at our libraries and study centres. There are separate rooms for silent study, as well as reading spaces in our libraries and other study environments.

Opening hours

BMC

Opening hours for students with the new access card are: Mondays to Sundays from 06:45 to 22:00 Please note that you need an access card outside office hours.

CRC

Please note that you need an access card outside office hours.

Group rooms at BMC and CRC

There are bookable group rooms. Several of the group rooms are equipped with a whiteboard and screens to make group work easier.

You can book a room for 2 hours at a time. The rooms can be booked 2 weeks in advanced, but maximum 6 bookings per fortnight. Do not forget to cancel, if you will not use the room!
