To students

Soon the autumn semester will begin, and the Faculty of Medicine will welcome back new and returning students. According to the vice-chancellor's decision from 17 June, Lund University will, from the start of the autumn semester, begin a gradual and orderly adaptation to educational activities without restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Adaptation is to be completed by 1 November 2021.

Initially lectures will be held digitally, while group education will be held on the campus premises. Currently, no education for groups larger than 50 students will be held on campus. For education on campus premises current recommendations still apply – please keep the distance and try to keep at least one meter distance to other persons. It is very important to stay at home should you have any symptoms and to get a Covid-19 test. This applies for all students, even if you are vaccinated.

Since each programme has specific conditions, it is important to carefully check the schedule and to contact the head of your course if you have any questions.

If you have not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19, we encourage you to do so.

We look forward to seeing you on campus!

Maria Björkqvist, Vice dean education
