When I have returned
Credit transfer
If you are going to credit your exchange studies within your programme, apply for credit as soon as you get home. Contact the academic director of your study programme and present the original certificate along with all the information you have collected on your clinical placement or the theoretical courses you have taken. The academic director reviews your documents and decides on credit transfer.
Evaluation of your exchange studies
Remember to write a travel report after you return. Your travel report is important as a source of inspiration for other students. You need to submit your travel report in order for the faculty’s travel grant to be paid.
Submit your travel report (Lund University's central website)
Tell others about your exchange studies
As a returning exchange student to the Faculty of Medicine, you are expected to participate in information meetings on exchange studies and help to inspire more people to study abroad. The International Office will contact you.
Certificate of International Merits (CIM)
Your stay abroad is valid for the Certificate of International Merits.
